Advice

A high BeAM value is the result of elevated bedtime blood glucose levels and a relatively low AM blood glucose level. This ratio suggests that basal insulin titration optimization has been achieved and further mealtime control may be needed.

Management

A high BeAM result (>50mg/dL) may be an indicator of uncontrolled postprandial glucose. The addition of a prandial insulin should be considered in these patients.
