GARFIELD-AF
Predicts mortality, stroke, and bleeding in patients w/ and w/out anticoagulation.
Use in patients with newly diagnosed atrial fibrillation (AF) to assist in determining the risks of anticoagulation therapy.
Advice
- Use the OAC Treatment input to select the therapy for which you would like to view specific risk calculations at 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years from diagnosis.
- The risk of mortality, ischemic stroke, and major bleeding (including hemorrhagic stroke) is displayed for each time frame.
- This can be used as part of a comprehensive management plan for patients with newly diagnosed atrial fibrillation.
